Dear Ladies and Gentleman,

 

As you know, I and many other SGAtlantis fans are quite mad that you have canceled a show that won the People’s Choice Awards, and our hearts. Until you do renew SGAtlantis for sixth season, I and other fans will be boycotting the Scifi Channel.

 

We’re tired of Scifi crapping on the viewers and not caring about what we want. We’re going to give them one chance to make this right and if not—it’s boycott and it’s war. That’s right. How dare you expect me to watch SGU!

 

“We’re aiming at a younger generation”, well you know what, just because I’m fourteen doesn’t mean I watch power rangers anymore. You’ve canceled SG1, and no way will I ever let you take away Atlantis!

 

How you dare to cancel the best show in history, I’ll never know. But for you to announce Atlantis’ cancellation the same day as you announce the start of Stargate Voyager, or “Universe”, well that is just plain old arrogance!

 

Have fun tormenting the world, or dare I say “Universe”!

Do not cancel this show. What an excellent tourch bearer for the franchise after the end of SG1. Besides there is so many story threads to get finished it would be impossible to complete them in the final few episodes and I don’t want to hear of movies just yet. I will boycott Sci-Fi over here and have already sent a direct e-mail to them and to Sky who show Stargate over here in Ireland. I am absolutely disgusted that the fans are once again being let down. Don’t go with what Sci-Fi want. Jump ship to someone else if it means we get one or two more seasons out of it. The ride is only half way through. Don’t leave us hanging. Finish Atlantis the way you want to, not the way big fat tv execs who don’t have a clue want to. It happened with Star Trek. Don’t repeat their mistake.

I was very upset to hear the show would be cancelled. I do not watch much tv but I have always made time for Stargate Atlantis. I have bought the DVDs and everything, I even download it to watch on my iPod while on long flights. Its a slap in the face of our views who watch faithful for 5 years. I will boycott Sci-Fi and MGM, if you only care about your needs as a company and not your views, why are you in this market? In the long run you will lose more then you bargin because you have already shown you are not in it for the fans. I would like to say that I will contiune to support the actors because I believe they would do whats best for there fans. I hope that you will change your minds for the pure fact that you will make more money ( which is truly all you care about) if you keep the show around.

I’m writing to ask that you please reconsider the cancellation of STARGATE ATLANTIS. Why sacfrifice a popular award-winning program for the sake of a spin-off show which might not be as successful? Please listen to the Atlantis fans and say ‘YES’ to Season Six!
